I studied English Literature at Cambridge and after five years in my first English teaching job, I moved on to my first of three Head of English posts over the next 17 years, before becoming Vice Principal for two years then Principal for six years.

During my career I have been an examiner and moderator, and tutored, at both GCSE and A Level

I would love to support you if you are looking to give your child that extra one-to-one coaching they need to grow in confidence with their writing, reading and analytical skills in English Language and/or English Literature.

I recently joined NACE (the National Association for the Teaching of More Able Children) as an Associate, because I share their values that stretching children is the best way to help them to progress, whatever their starting point.
